Job description

Electrical Engineer (High Voltage)

Location: all of Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for overhead transmission lines (70 kV – 400 kV) and prepare tender documentation;
  • Analyze and conduct load calculations for overhead towers, determining minimum size requirements;
  • Prepare technical documentation, including electrical schemes and phasing diagrams, insulator selection and earthing system design, power drawings, stringing charts with sags and tensions, staking reports, line profile drawings, and short-circuit calculations, material procurement and clearance checking (external & internal);
  • Route and design transmission and distribution overhead power lines using specialized software;
  • Determine pole placement within selected routes and oversee the construction of steel and wooden poles.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in Electrical engineering and design for overhead transmission lines;
  • Proficiency in Microstation/AutoCad/PLS-CADD/IceTow;
  • Familiar with power lines projects from 70kV to 400 kV;
  • Knowledge of the European standard EN 50341;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: AMA, BAS-P, PLS Pole, PLS TWR, Inventor.
