Job description

Electrical Engineer (Transformers)

Location: all of Poland

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to over 10 years of relevant experience in transformer systems/power systems engineering;
  • Proficiency in the area of specification of components, control, and protection systems integration;
  • Being familiar with earthing and bonding design principles;
  • Hands-on experience with transformer auxiliary components: bushings, cooling systems, tap changer, control and monitoring systems, protection devices, busbars, cables, and similar equipment;
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: experience in SCADA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement transformer systems and auxiliary components for medium voltage systems (10-132kV);
  • Perform verification of components, cabling systems, and related accessories to ensure alignment with project requirements and safety standards;
  • Define commissioning and testing protocols to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards;
  • Design earthing and bonding systems to ensure safety and system integrity under operational and fault conditions;
  • Collaborate with civil engineers for the design and specification of steel and concrete civil structures associated with power systems;
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies for transformer installations and operations.
