Job description
Power Systems CAD Engineer
Location: all of Poland
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify CAD drawings and 3D models for power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks;
- Prepare layout designs, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications for various power system components;
- Conduct design reviews and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations;
- Utilize software tools (e.g., PCSCHEMATIC, or Client defined databases) to document technical designs;
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design reports, technical specifications, and presentation materials;
- Support field engineers during construction and implementation phases by providing accurate drawings and resolving design issues.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field;
- We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to over 10 years of relevant experience as a CAD engineer in the power systems or electrical engineering sector;
- Proficiency in CAD software for Power Systems (e.g., AutoCAD, PCSCHEMATIC, etc.);
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles and power system design standards;
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities;
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
